Abnormal telomeres in ICF syndrome →

Nondegradable Scc1 induces a cut phenotype in human fibroblasts. DNA is stained with DAPI (blue). Telomeres (red) and centromeres (green) are detected by PNA-FISH. Telomeric signals present on the chromatin bridge suggest defects in telomere separation induced by the non-degradable Scc1 protein. Article by Yalon et al. Journal Cell Science, 2004.
